Development and high cost of living feature in Gungahlin meeting

Federal Member for Fraser, Bob McMullan, today said that his community meeting with Gungahlin residents earlier this week had focused largely on the rate of development in Gungahlin and the toll that increases in the cost of living are having, particularly on retirees and others on low incomes.

Mr McMullan renewed his call for government departments to be relocated outside the Civic precinct in order to ease the strain on traffic and other infrastructure and to promote growth in other city centres.
